Close to correct. 2 coaches got fired over it. Truly surprising that Deboer got extended. I've been told no one is comparable to Bama, but here we are comparing Bama's 4 losses to other teams. I guess.Bama understands that the Saban/Bear eras aren't business as usual, they aren't super special and 3/4 losses is not necessarily catastrophic or unexpected.

Unfortunately for you, you aren't the authority over determining the success or failure of Alabama football. Again, you can keep preaching that the earth is flat, but the facts just make you look silly.

You can tell those who are ignorant of history. History only remembers the titles Bear won. But go look at the seasons when he went 6-5 in back to back seasons. He didn't win the NC every season. There were great years, good years and bad years.
The non-Bama fan 40 years old and under tend to make some of the dumbest comments and opinions about the Alabama program and it is normally because they are completely ignorant of its history. But carry on...

Correct alabam has always survived and dominated on history and tradition of winning. Congrats on buying your national championship.

I am the ultimate authority if compared to you and the rest of you troglodytes with the mullet A.
I said Deboer is toast until he retools his offensive and defensive lines like his job depends on it.
Congrats on those qb recruits though!

lol if you think the number qb in LA is going to bama. The number qb in LA has been locked in at LSU for some time. Houston dominated the elite 11’s and at The Opening Finals.

And your definition of toast is making the SEC title game, making the playoffs and going 1-1 in the playoffs. I can only imagine what you think of your program if by these standards, Alabama is "toast". LOL! The flat-earthers are entertaining.

Was it? I thought it was close but incorrect. 2019 and 2023 were less than 4 losses and Brian Kelly gets himself fired following his 3rd loss of 2025, after losing 4 games, 3 games and 4 games the prior seasons.
What is the minimum expectation for DeBoer for the next, say, 3 seasons?

You keep talking about flat earthers and nobody knows why.
Nobody thinks as highly of Bama as they used to either so here we are. And here you are talking about improvement of all things.

I think Alabama being embarrassed by Indiana last year is part of the issue

Both DeBoer and Courtney Morgan addressed this high school recruiting class early in the spring. They were looking at signing 16-17 high school players this year. They took huge high school classes the past 2 years and have about 80 players who are freshmen or 2nd year players.
The goal this year was using NIL funds for roster retention and being very specific about who they recruit. I guess we'll have to wait and see how this strategy plays out. Bama doesn't have Ohio State/Michigan/Texas schools money to try to outspend their opponents.
