Ryan Wingo is gonna be a badass.. he might be WR1 this year
Arch looked pretty damn good. It wasn’t scripted and Sark wasn’t even calling plays.. nice touch and great footwork.. actually making reads.. but
Ewers is the starter this year, but I expect Arch to play.. tbd if QE can stay healthy
Owens actually looked pretty good for a freshman QB3. He isn’t ready, but looks like there is some potential there down the road.
Lots of speed at wideout.
TLDR: Texas sucks. Arch is transferring. We will be lucky to go 6-6.

Defense good = offense bad
The spring game is almost always a zero sum game.
The year Kyler Murray won the heisman award, the final score of their spring game was 6-3. So these don't always say a bunch.

Good good, keep thinking this way.
I've been following Texas football since I was old enough to understand the game and I don't think even Mack Browns early 2000's teams were this loaded with talent and quality depth. We're legit 3 deep at QB and even DT hasn't been the weakness we thought it might be after losing two NFL draftees. I don't recall ever watching a Texas spring game that was competitive till the final whistle, but that's exactly what we got today
Arch is legit, true Freshman WR Ryan Wingo managed to flash in a very deep receiver room, and we had a few starters on defense sit out today and some young guys flashed making plays. I think DT will be fine, (portal help is on the way as well) pressure off the edge will be better this season, safety will be better, and our O-line has set the goal of winning whatever that award is for the entire O-line. They scored pretty high last year and return all but one starter.
Can't wait to get this shite started, Aug 31 can't get here quickly enough. Hookem \m/

Zero sum for sure, but you can judge individual performances as an indication of how they will be during the season. AD Mitchell was the star on offense in last year's spring game and that carried on into the season...same for some other guys.
