I loved the BCS ranking. We should have computer based rankings and then the committee to take the data and what they have seen on tape and be able to eliminate and see what the computer polls do not.

There’s so many analysts out there that aren’t a part of the AP poll that would love to be and then we have voters like this woman..

You obviously have never heard the sweet sound of Beth Mowans leading off the intro to a major game kicking off at 11:00 AM on ESPNU.

This is a dumb question but other than name recognition what are the incentives to voting CFB for these AP members? Just by her interview and her reading of the room of complaints when she said her vote doesn't mean anything I have to assume she doesn't care about football like the fans do. I have never heard of the Auburn AP member so dont know why name recognition would be such a draw to the vote either.

At least the guy in basketball that is always wildly an outlier in his AP poll is pointing to some kind of system that he invented based on skewed criteria where he thinks each team should be ranked. This girl dont care.

As someone who has actually voted on such things, I would call her out if she was an aardvark, it’s irrelevant to me that she’s a woman.

Her argument is that it’s not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things, and none of this s**t really is if you get right down to it. But if you have agreed to do this, you ought to take it seriously and put some time and work into it. Period.

There’s plenty that know their stuff.

Pam Oliver, Doris Burke, Rachel Nichols to name a few. Not saying they are my favorite sports caster but they are nowhere near this person

I could make others, the fact is there are plenty of women in sports who are knowledgeable. If you can’t accept or acknowledge that, that’s more a you problem

Meh there's 2 AP voters that don't think we should even be ranked. There's 2 every year that weigh us down for no explainable reason and their reasons are even worse than just kinda writing off the question.

Is the AP even familiar with the word "credibility"?

I’d like for her to tell the kids of fired coaches that the polls don’t matter.

What do you mean? She may be the only reason Napier survived the weekend with his job.

Anyone's know how much AP voters get paid because she's clearly stealing her paycheck.

Nobody is saying that. They’re saying if she agreed to do this she should take it seriously.

This just reinforces my view that women shouldn’t be allowed to vote

Yeah but that is our safe space that we created, I thought your cult frowned upon cultural appropriation or whatever goofy made up terms you used to justify your ridiculous beliefs.

I don't expect fat rednecks to have a say in the Academy Awards and certainly don't expect to use the powers of the police state to force that group on them?
