In fairness, he did that at MSU which is arguably the second most difficult job in the SEC. Now that he's in Florida and doesn't really have to leave the state on recruiting based on that talent pool, I don't think it's out of the question that he can win 9+ games most years. Plus, one of UF's biggest problems since Urban left has been the QB play, and I don't think that will be a problem with Mullen.

Mullen isn’t a good game manager. No plan B: Decent at evaluating talent though.
Let’s see if he can adjust to the fast lane after being in Starkville.

Well there is another angle on this whole thing.

He might be one of the very few coaches around who could do anything with Felipe Franks.

That may have been true with Dan as an assistant making 1 million.....she's probably going to learn to live with it at 6 million and him being the head coach!!!
