Think State should be ranked on a hunch no less crazy than your end of the year predictions.

Really? So you are gonna keep 5 teams in the top 10 even though you all have to play each other head to head. The teams i predict might not be right but the thinking about the rankings is spot on.
State hasnt played anyone. That UAB game was ugly. If they were working from success last year I can see them getting the benefit of the doubt but they will have to earn a ranking by playing and beating someone with a pulse.

LSU will show off that nasty D next week when they have Dak Prescott running for his life....it will be a beautiful thing. It will bring back painful memories for the Aggies as well

So A&M beats a cupcake by the less points than LSU did yesterday and you guys are light years ahead of LSU and will beat us and our D by three tds??? : lol:

My ranking them is based on now not end of the season. Give them a chance, they could upset a few teams.

LSU has lost by 3 TDs twice in the last 6 years.
Both were to Alabama. You guys are certainly not Alabama.
Our style of play makes it almost impossible for us to lose a game by that much. We'll run the ball on y'all and control TOP. We'll have a hard time stopping your offense all game, but in the 2nd half if it's close we may be able to wear down the Aggie defense.
To think aTm wins by 3 TDs is the most delusional thing in this thread so far.

This is so frickin stupid. Our defense is lights out and by the time we play A&M there's no telling how good they will be. Not to mention, Chavis has Sumlins number and it's pretty obvious.

Rankings this early are a joke. Mizzou once again have to battle their way into the top 10 because of preseason rankings. They haven't skipped a beat from last season but was ranked 25 in one poll and NR in another. SEC west teams will start dropping after they play each other. Not hard to get that many in top 10 when you have many ranked high in preseason polls.
