It tracks a lot of coaches. We all know Bear and Dye had drinking issues. Sarks issues are well known. A lot of pressure at that level for the high performers.

That de facto makes it the most successful.

But you are right. Blankenship didn't need much coaching. But then, Blankenship was gone when Cochran came on board.

If Cochran is in fact in rehab over Adderall, I fully expect all the leftoid wokesters to praise him for his stunning and brave decision to take care of his mental health, as they did for Simone Biles.

Kirby Smart said he was taking care of his mental health. I suspect it's his mental health issues that have lead to self-medicating. Nothing unusual for folks to get deeply addicted to alcohol and drugs, in an attempt to deal with mental issues that cycle through their life.
The sympathy and attention should come from the nature of the disease, not the self-medication in trying to live with it. It's always the old, which came first, the chicken or the egg with mental health patients.

I can kinda buy adderall abuse though because it may have been prescribed and nobody thinks of prescription drugs as something dangerous even though that’s precisely why they must be prescribed.

If human compassion is a leftist trait, I think you should fear for the long term sustainability of the right movement in the US. Most normal people in the “vast middle” of this country don’t want to be associated with a party of heartless assholes.

Another rumor that I don't think is true is he doesn't want to get vaxed. The former I believe is the issue.
I'll pray for him as I know that addiction could be life threatening.
