Clemson beat Bama and was the better team that night. Ole Miss played a tough game but they did get lucky against Bama in 2015 but clearly played better in the 2014 game. OSU was the better team.

There are very few instances where a team has just lined up and beat Bama. It usually takes a Herculean effort, some unlikely plays, and usually some missed Bama field goals.
South Carolina in 2010 absolutely just beat Bama. That's the last time a SEC team beat Bama by more than 1 possession.

If it's a close game between similarly ranked teams can you say one team is clearly better than the other? Under Saban, USC and '08 Florida remain the only SEC teams to beat Bama by 2 scores or more. All the other SEC losses Bama has had have been close.
Outside the SEC, Oklahoma and Utah beat Bama by 2 scores. Even though they won by a score or less, OSU and 2015 Clemson were the better team that night.
The thing OP seems to be forgetting is Bama has never been blown out in several years. In every single close loss there's almost always fans of the losing side that complain about something.

There isn't a team that beat Bama that you could legitimately say would beat Bama in a series...
Name some teams that were ACTUALLY BETTER... they may have played better that day.. like USEe.. we'd have likely beat that team 9 straight times after that lol.

I'll complain about the Clemson loss. We were in position to blow them out but bad play calling took over.
