The only way the SEC would ever expand to 16 teams is if they brought in programs that would bring in a lot more revenue than they would take from the pot. Oklahoma and Texas are two such schools.
Not so sure about that, Tex. Lot's of chatter in SEC lands that our Presidents don't want the trouble that adding Texas would bring. They are still interested in Oklahoma, though.

Texas, Florida State, Clemson, will NEVER be allowed to join the SEC and we all know why.
Texas wants no part of the SEC.
Oklahoma is joined to OK State with the same BOR. No way they split and the SEC won't take both.
North Carolina or Virgina schools will be next for expansion if it ever happens.

A$M gonna be top dog in Texas. UT f__k'ed up not jumping to the SEC. Aggies going to recruit well here on out. UT will never leap over A&M unless the Big 12 morphs into something cooler than the SEC. That's not happening.
It is perfect for LSU. After UT,A&M, I'd say LSU fans have the next largest fan base.
They have a hated history. Gonna be a good rivalry.
