All this reminds me of Jerry Tarkanian quote about Kentucky. "The NCAA is so mad at Kentucky that they're going to give Cleveland State two more years of probation."

The NCAA are a bunch of whores and they protect the cash flow of the big programs so they put programs like Ole Miss on probation to show that they still have "teeth".

And apparently OM would have won against LSU if their receivers could catch. Who knew?

Well when one school definitely offers and said athlete goes to different school I would strongly believe they paid more. That's just me.

See if you can tell the difference in these 2 statements. And don't go all rebel and claim that I'm saying LL was not paid by MSU.

Why? School A paid him before he signed, he already had the money, free to go wherever he wanted.

Not saying that we didn't, because I don't know.

Are you sure it's not due to the Adidas/Howland connection? When Howland landed at MSU, he was $uddenly able to bring in very highly rated guys.

That would be believable, at least. The time frame of a LOI involving LL doesn't even fit.
