That was a unique situation. That was ABSOLUTE COMEDY GOLD. What started as a juicy rumor (on April Fools Day no less) turned into a dragged out amazing reality. Then it turned into the John L. Smith tenure which morphed into the Bert Bielema regime.
As for Wade, we'll see where it goes. Now, that being said, our President and, more importantly, our AD aren't liked or trusted for various reasons. Joe Alleva was a failure as Duke's AD and certainly hasn't shown himself to be incredibly improved with time. Lord knows the Rant has had plenty of fun at his expense; why can't we be given the same courtesy?
