I hate coaches that can't seem to control their emotions, so Muschamp and Pelini are at the top of my list.

Petrino.

You know, the coach that just blew off Texas Astroglide & Mechanical to be the OC at UNLV under Odom.

UNLV.

UNLV now a more prestigious coaching destination than the mighty "Best of Everything" Astroglide Aggie College.

Urban Meyer. I hate him a little less now because his NFL stint went even better than predicted.

My FIL was a business owner near Auburn. He could not stand Pat Dye. He always talks about how dirty and how much of a sleeze bag Pat Dye was.

Heard this one about Chad Morris at Allen High last year. He apparently had it in his contract that staff at the school couldn't speak to him.

Heard that football operations staff were all terrified of Petrino. Sadly, I've heard Muss can be rude to the same at faciliites too.

I'm sure he does but he needs to realize that not everyone tips the parking attendant.

I know two different guys who worked on Dye’s farm in college. They had nothing but good things to say about coach. His wife on the other hand was a different story. You can tell a lot about how people treat their employees. Especially employees who are cleaning out horse stalls.

Met Pat dye once. Was not impressed, seemed like he'd been drinking. A lot. Shocker, I know.

A couple additional observations... I'll flip the script and talk about a couple of absolutely nice coaches. Had a chance to separately spend a few minutes with Bart Starr and Gene Stallings. Both of them were as absolutely gracious and polite as they could be.

I always thought Saban was a bit of a jerk, but he was OUR jerk, you know? Then I got a chance to interact with him a bit, and found out that he has a good sense of humor. But when that work switch flips, he's all business and has no time for anything else. Get him away from the office and he's a different guy.

But then again, maybe most coaches are probably like that because they have to be, at least the more successful ones.

Having been a HS coach for 20+ years I got to meet several HC's. Here's my likable/unlikable list based on ones I've met.

Likable:
Dan Mullen really nice fella.
Houston Nutt really is a good guy. Very personable.
Sam Pittman Is who he is. Good 'ol boy.
Les Miles Honestly one of the best clinic talks I've ever been to. Stuck around and greeted everyone.
Ken Hatfield Genuine nice guy.

unlikable:
Chad Morris.... fake from the jump
Nick Saban.... morphs into butthole mode as soon as the cameras are off.
Clint Conque... was HC at Central Arkansas. Look up sleaze in the dictionary and you will see him.
Gus.... just had a high and mighty attitude.

Petrino was actually neutral. Not as unlikable as you would think. (aside from the whole Harley scandal and all)

Totally forgot about Barry Switzer. Met him at a golf course randomly one day. Introduced myself and when he heard my last name he said he had played college ball with I guy with my last name. It was my uncle and I knew it beforehand but it was cool that he remembered him. Told me a lot of stories about my uncle that I had never heard. Really cool guy.
