You're attempting to imply that his headline is:

"Georgia is college football's most overrated program"

Except the actual headline is essentially:

"Mike Bianchi thinks Georgia is college football's most overrated program"

Maybe not most overrated, but definitely the most under performing team in the modern era.

I would put Texas in that category also.

At least Texas has a National Championship in the last 39 years

I would say Texas wastes more talent than UGA does, a lot more

that's also true, more so a decade ago then now though. Under Mack they were always ridiculously talented and pretty much locked down TX recruiting, and if not for a transcendent, storybook season for the ages from Vince they'd be going on a title drought dating back to 1969.

UGA and Texas both have the exact same number of national titles in the last 40 years. Shocking right

Sounds a lot like Herschel Walker. So if we take away 1980 for you we would be going back to when?

Well I would say a miracle is more rare than a fluke. So I am not sure where you are going with this. I am guessing you still have a problem with Bianchi calling that play a fluke. I think you are fighting an uphill battle here. Maybe move on to character assassination like your brethren.

Did a UGA fan murder your family, or did you just spend time growing up in metro Atlanta? Those are the only 2 things I cna think of that give you such a hateboner for UGA. It's very odd, and not a good look.

Remind me of the year that Florida finished unbeaten and untied?

1996- Lost to Florida State and were given a mulligan even though Arizona State was undefeated and Ohio State also had one late loss.

2006- Got into the MNC with 1 loss despite an undefeated Boise State and other one loss teams. Benefited from other teams losing and getting to play a weak Arkansas in the SEC championship.

2008 - Lost to fricking Ole Miss, but Tebow cried and the media swooned. Got to play in the Natty over undefeated Utah, 1 loss USC and 1 loss Texas.

In other words, the Gators got help and/or were lucky each time they got to play for the Natty. I'd like to see that fat arse write a column about these fluky titles.

Spurrier ain"t walking through that door and neither is Tebow

I think it was a major miracle for Vince Young to carry Texas to a title. That might have been the best performance I can remember. That Texas offense sucked. It was all VY.

They won those National Championship games though. What you are posting only matters if they had lost. Winning the games proved Florida deserved to be there.

I'm sorry you have spent this much time on Florida, what exactly is your point?

I've made that point many times (specifically years ago when discussing Richt) in that other teams while obviously good have gotten the help that richt never did.

96 UF
03 LSU
06 UF
07 LSU (twice..)
08 UF
11 Bama
12 bama
13 AU

All played for a national title despite losing a game in the regular season. Richt's 02 team was as good as any in the country, but unlike every single other team mentioned above, had 2 powerhouse undefeateds ahead of them all season so he didn't get the same break.

That's how it worked before the BCS. Ohio State was the Big 10 champ, Arizona State was the Pac 10 champ, so they were off to the Rose Bowl no matter what. Florida didn't exactly get a mulligan considering that's how it worked back then. Where they did get lucky is when Arizona State let freshman Joe Germaine take OSU down the field for the winning touchdown in the final minute of that Rose Bowl. ASU would have been #1 in every poll if they held on.

I'd also like to mention again that Mike Bianchi is a fricking hack. He should take notes from Frank Frangi on how to run a radio show.

College footballs most overrated program is 5-3 vs the Gators in the last 8. Has a more recent SECC than anyone not named Bama, and is one of only two SEC schools to ever make the playoffs and one of only 5 schools in the country to ever win a playoff game.

Florida won those games. There is no dispute about it except from butthurt Georgia fans it seems. Had Florida lost those games then we could come on here and discuss whether they deserved to be there or not. Talk about misunderstanding.
