I know Funes laundered money through Rohan Davey's mother and sister, but Rohan has not played for LSU since 2001. The Alexander thing may be a bit more dicey.
Funes was the ultimate jock sniffer and was trading on his father's reputation. I knew him in undergrad, thought he was a pretentious arrogant shite in the 80's when he was a Lambda Chi and my limited interaction with him since 1990 has only strengthened my dislike for the guy.
I know the investigators on the case and they settled on the 810K. The real amount was higher and Funes knows where that money went, the IRS knows where that money went and members (most of them) know damned well where that money went.
There is so much more to this story that if it came out could do real damage and end up hurting some innocent people who did not know they were part of the scam.
Funes did not come up with this embezzlement scheme by himself....he learned it.

So it was all innocent ; Fuenes needed to launder the money he was stealing from the hospital
and chose player family members with the understanding
they would launder it for him and send it back ?

Let's all let the game continue to be played and done the way it always has, please. I rather enjoy the product we get. As powerless as the NCAA always seems, we lend power by drumming up this bullshite via public sentiment. Too much sentiment and we all force their hand.
