An 8 Team Schedule

As we all know, a 1-7 isn't doable with all of the different rivalry games that need to be played.
So what are the options with a 8 game schedule?
Two Divisions - 7 games + 1 across
this has major flaws as you don't play half the conference.. ever
A 2-6 model and 3-5 both work, but the scheduling can be very unbalanced..
So here is my crazy 8 year solution.
It's a divisional structure with just a few parts moving every 2 years, but the scheduling is very balanced setup this way.
Most teams will play everyone but just a couple of teams over the 8 year period. While this isn't ideal, it's better than half the conference.
Most of the important games are played every year. It can also be tweaked if there are any major games that I missed..
Thoughts?
TLDR: a 1-7 model doesn't work for several members of the conference, so now I'm trying to solve an unsolvable puzzle again.. this isn't about what I want, or what Texas wants, this is about trying to find a solution that that works for all the other teams.
another option

How about Texas, OU, Aggy, and Mizzou go back where they came from and the SEC can enjoy all of its permanent cross-divisional and historic rivalries

At this point I’m all for just rotating the schedule every year. If the Iron Bowl or Third Saturday in October or red River Rivalry doesn’t happen every year so be it. There’s too many teams in the conference any way. If the sec and big ten break away to ya gong to be an NgL model anyway and those yearly rivalries will die any way.

So you want Tulane back as one of LSU rivalry.

Uh…why isn’t LSU paired with Florida? That makes a lot more sense than LSU/Ole Miss and Florida/OU

Is it true that the Iron Bowl and Third Saturday in October rivalries are in jeopardy if we do not go to a 9 game conference schedule? I thought I saw some internet fodder on that over the past couple of days, but didn't know how true it was.

LSU/Ole Miss game has been around forever. That one not going anywhere
Florida should be Georgia and Auburn

Here is my solution.
Texas, Texas A&M, Oklahoma and Missouri back to the Big 12
South Carolina back to the ACC
Arkansas can beg to go to the Big 12.
Then we can go to a 9 game schedule

4 divisions with the top two who have the highest winning % including tie breakers playing in ATL
West: A&M, Texas, OU, Mizzou
Central: Arkansas, LSU, Ole Miss, State
South: Florida, Bama, Auburn, Georgia
East: Tennessee, Vandy, SC, Kentucky
You play everyone in your division plus two teams from another division for a total of 9 conference games.
For example LSU’s schedule could be this:
Arkansas, Ole Miss, State, Florida, bama, Auburn, Georgia, OU & Kentucky
If teams don’t want to have a gap in their series for a year then they’re welcome to schedule an OOC game. The teams I’m referring to are bama Tennessee and Auburn Georgia
