What a sport we have now.

It’s out of control for everyone.

Do you think these guys are entering to keep their options open or to get attention from the new staff?

Most of the time when someone enters the portal they end up transferring. This is college football now. It’s rare that anyone plays the long game anymore.

Top 100 recruit in Class of ‘22. Would he have started next season?

None of these guys signed with alabama to play for a coach they’re not very familiar with.

I think it's because they came to play for Saban

And now they're getting off because they feel jaded

That's the 1st wave of exits

The 2nd wave will be people not wanting to be on a "project" team

Physical freak. Underutilized. Doesn't want to play with Dildo.

This one is more of a kick to the dick than Bond. Pretty much all of our WRs on roster had Bond's talent or better. Niblack is a complete mismatch anywhere he lines up on the field, and we didn't have a game plan or QB to take advantage of it.

If that 104-12 coach y’all just hired was worth a shite he would talk him into staying for the Will Rodger’s era

So much of Alabamas edge was playing for the greatest coach they idolize their whole careers before college. Now Alabama has to straight up compete for talent like never before. In the age where every team essentially has the same resources and money. I don’t think past college football success or landscape is that valid anymore in determining who will win titles given that team rosters change so violently year to year now. It’s dangerous to evaluate past success as indicative future success when the rules of the game drastically change in anything. See it in financial markets all the time.

Few college coaches properly teach or utilize the TE position like they’re asked in the NFL. DeBoer’s system is grounded in Air Raid principles, which wasn’t what he signed up to be developed in. Wouldn’t shock me if he landed at Texas tbh.

Alabama fan here who doesn’t disagree with a vowel or consonant you’ve written. Is what it is. For everyone. This ain’t changing, regardless of message board comments by angry fans, so you either adapt or die.

I think we definitely had the gameplan for it. Niblack was open like all the time. Our QB just has no vision.
