Alabama has done it how many times without skipping a beat?

Somehow I doubt Bama is going to struggle at QB. He already has that $1Mil NIL deal.

Because of NIL he is an instant millionaire, while his offensive linemen are still living on food stamps. I wouldn't be surprised to see some of his very jealous offensive linemen just accidentally missing a block oh so very discreetly here and there.

This is a prime example of what hype can do. He has thrown 22 career passes and they weren't worth $1M.

Lucking into something isn’t a bad thing, it’s just for a QB guru seems like he has to have generational talent to be successful.

A&M maybe. I don't know.

Bama.. hope in one and shite in the other. I think at this point we've got a clean hand and a mountain of shite in the other. Bryce Young won't go bust. He just won't. Sabans powers don't allow it.

Florida...Dan Mullen is kind of a doofus but he does shite out QB after QB. Dak, Fitz, turned Franks into something resembling a functional QB and made a Heisman contender out of a lowly recruited back up. So I'm not inclined to doubt him on Jones.

Are we predicting all 3 lose to LSU?

I have my doubts on whether or not O’Brien can step in and replicate the production of Kiffin and Sark. Maybe it stems from living in Houston and hearing Texan fans constantly complain about his playcalling and personnel decisions (remember he started Tom Savage over Watson). Obviously a reduction in his responsibilities will help (NFL HC vs SEC OC), as well as having a stacked roster. I’m interested to see if he and Saban, both control freaks, can mesh. I’m also interested in how well the players respond to his hard-arse persona…seems like Kiffin and Sark would play the role of “good cop” to Saban’s “bad-cop”.

But Bryce Young is going to be really fricking good.

Hope he’s put on about 40 pounds of muscle because he’s going to get seriously injured if he’s still the tiny shrimp he was out of high school

Looking how incredibly tiny Bryce Young is. He's a puny little pipsqueak. I can't see him making an entire season with defensive linemen, blitzing linebackers, and blitzing safeties and cornerbacks all looking to take his head off.

He wasn't very impressive in his limited playing time last year, but I'm sure he is incredibly talented given that he was like the #1 QB recruit when he came out. Also, Bama's O-lines are so good that the QB rarely gets touched. Mac Jones rarely was even pressured last year.

With that said, I do believe there will be a slight learning curve for Young considering he will be a 1st-time starter with a new coordinator and mostly all new WRs other than Metchie. So I think they will be more human on offense this year, but Bama is still Bama.

He's 6'0" 200 lbs. He's not huge but plenty of guys that size have done just fine

Considering Bama has trotted out a new face at QB almost every year and has been in the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years, I'd say Bryce Young is definitely not overhyped.

Considering none of those QBs have or will make an impact in the NFL, I’d say the QB position at Bama has been irrelevant. It’s more about what’s around the QB than the QB itself.

Then he’s gained about 30 pound because that guy made Brennan look huge out of high school.

I think all three will have similar issues that LSU had last year breaking in new qb's
Especially if any get hurt
LSU was sending out true fr without normal offseason

He's Tua's height and probably 5-10 lbs lighter at this point.

He'll be fine. Alabama has an NFL offensive line every year.

bruh you're talking about elite prospects that signed with Bama. Food stamps? Those kids don't want for anything.

Alabama won't. They haven't yet. The kid at UF has taken some snaps and Mullen is a QB whisperer. I don't think either will be Trask or Mac this season but probably at least as good as whoever we put out.

a lot of guys are small coming out of high school. 247 had him at 183 coming out of high school, so he's gained about 15 pounds. He was nowhere near as skinny as Brennan was. Brennan was listed at 6'3" 180 coming out of high school, so while having several inches on Young, he weighed less.
