And at Vandy when Franklin went 9-4 two years in a row and 9-7 in the SEC?
He did a great job at Vandy, but I also think he took advantage of some really down teams during that time.
2012: 5 SEC wins
5-7 Mizzou
3-9 Auburn
2-10 Kentucky
7-6 Ole Miss
5-7 Tenn
This group had 6 SEC wins COMBINED!
2013: 4 SEC wins
8-5 UGA far and away his best win at Vandy. Deserves credit.
4-9 Florida
2-10 Kentucky
5-7 Tennessee

The worst part of a Drinkwitz hire would be the price you'd have to pay him. He's already making $9 million/yr at Mizzou. Is LSU really about to saddle itself with another massive contract for Drinkwitz?
I'd much rather pay cheap for a G5 coach, load up on staff and NIL, and hope for the best.

Admirable, but I wouldn't call it crushing it. Diaz is currently producing similar results.
From the Arkansas perspective, you need to ask yourself what are the expectations of the football program. I think Franklin could raise the floor for the program but I am not a big fan of hiring guys to less ideal situations and expecting better results.
At Penn State, 80% of the conference teams Franklin played were outmatched entirely in terms of talent. At Arkansas, how often will that be the situation?

How would they possibly know without cutting off the H1Bs for a couple years? Do away with them and see if companies start to struggle. My guess is that there are plenty of folks to fill most, if not all, of the positions being filled by H1Bs. Mights cost more, though. Also, the Indians that have been put in positions of hiring staff would have to hold their noses and hire....gasp... Americans.
Of course, it would cost more. That is the scam.
Pardeep from Surat is willing to work for 30% less than Mike from Toledo because getting away from shithole India is nearly priceless. They could pay him less, but then the scam would really come under scrutiny.
Even if Trump's premise is correct, he could roll out a plan to wean us off H-1Bs if he is truly the leader of this America First movement. Identify the industries where you believe we lack talent, and spend the next 5 years training and developing American talent.

Who is advising LSU in this matter?
The argument that Woodward and four LSU officials didn't have the authority to fire BK is laughable.

Fun fact
Gordon Lightfoot wrote The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald after reading an article in Newsweek about the disaster.

Hard to single him out.
The offense can't or won't do what he's good at. I get that he had the drop but we only focus on that because he's gotten so few targets.
He cooked an Ole Miss DB for an easy walk in TD and Nuss underthrew the ball by 10 yards.

Frank said LSU was having issues with the in helmet communication during the game. That could explain some of the issues.
It was painful to watch.

I’d much rather hire him than get into a Lane bidding war. Fantastic coach with some SEC experience as well.
my thoughts exactly. Pay him $5 million per with a bunch of incentives. Take the 5-7 million you're saving annually and hire the best staff in America to go along with another #1 portal class. LSU would win immediately.

A&M has intelligent, rational people running the show and making hires. I don’t see how anyone can look at our university leadership and see anything other than a complete shitshow going forward
Do they?
They offered the job to Mark Stoops and it caused such a fan meltdown they pivoted away from that and hired Elko who was 16-9 at Duke.
It clearly worked out for them but I don't think they are as far along as their record indicates.
There are 4 sec teams who have fired their coach. A&M has played all four. They get Mizzou with a first time freshmen starter who was pissing down his leg the entire game. Now throw in State and South Carolina.
you couldn’t pick a better SEC schedule. It is historic. They may end up not playing a single team from the top half of the league if Texas loses to UGA.
Always helps to get one of the easiest sec schedules I've ever seen.
