Am I the only one thinking that Bama, A$M, and Florida may have new-quarterback overhype?

We all know it is difficult in the SEC to just plug and play with a new starting QB. I truly believe they will all stub their toe on at least ONE team that they may slightly overlook. Anyone else agree? I'll hang up and listen.

I think Bama will miss Sark more than anything. He was awesome there.

But Bryce Young is going to be really fricking good.

A&M does for sure....Florida ehh if they are relying on Jones they are in trouble...Bama is unknown but based off history if they have a manageable type qb they are successful...But A&M is way over hyped in my opinion

The only one I’ve heard about is Brizzle Yizzle whiff Alabizzle.

Who are AssToMouth and Fagida planning on trotting out?

Somehow I doubt Bama is going to struggle at QB. He already has that $1Mil NIL deal.

I have legit questions about A&M and Florida.

Bryce Young is way overhyped

Give me our two over him any day. They run circles around him

Bama is Bama until proven otherwise.
A&M will be a grown up team when we play them. That’s going to be a good game, and thankfully being in TS should help some.
UF is not going very far with Emory Jones.

If Jimbo had Mond, a glorified 5 star out of HS, and he couldn’t develop him in his time there with multiple starts, I don’t see it getting better.

Considering Bama has trotted out a new face at QB almost every year and has been in the playoffs 5 of the last 6 years, I'd say Bryce Young is definitely not overhyped.

Emery Jones at Florida is hot garbage but I think most everyone knows that.

A&M will go back to being called the biggest threat to stop Alabama this year to losing 4 conference games like they always do.

Meanwhile LSU will be undefeated going into the Bama game for all the marbles.

Order restored.

Bama - They may start a little slow working in 8 new starters on offense but by the time LSU plays them they will be clicking. They haven't skipped a beat with first year starting qbs under Saban.

A&M - Mond sucked so I'm not sure you see that big of a drop off. They will be about establishing the run and playing defense.

Florida - I'm done writing off Mullen. Florida will score points.

I agree on A&M. Losing Mond was addition by subtraction

Now Jimbo has a whole QB room of his guys. They will be better

Agreed. Where would Jimbo be in his coaching career had he never lucked in to Jameis Winston? Of course, I know many people ask the same thing about O and Joe.

Had dinner with my best friend last Sunday who sadly is a HUGE Bama fan. Great guy and always straightforward about their teams - goods and others. He said there are a lot of homers out there with crimson shades, and others who are more cautious about the NEW QB, RB, OL and WRs that they will be breaking in. Yep they have a good roster with replacements, but they are not SEC game tested. He said their DEF will very likely need to carry them in some games. He expects them to be better than last year on that side of the ball, especially at LB.

IRT TAM, I'm not buying it. Lose your starting QB and multiple OL, and some key defenders. They are ripe to fall back this season. As is UF. Replacing Trask is no easy task. Their transfers will help, but they have some holes to fill.

We need to go minimum 2-1 over these three games.

Looking how incredibly tiny Bryce Young is. He's a puny little pipsqueak. I can't see him making an entire season with defensive linemen, blitzing linebackers, and blitzing safeties and cornerbacks all looking to take his head off. Hence, when he inevitably gets knocked out for several games, that's when Alabama will be very vulnerable to defeat.

Here is a brand new SEC QB rating that most LSU fans will enjoy very much:

I saw something on the SEC's instagram page ranking Emory Jones as the #3 QB in the league. TBH, he looked awful when I saw him play last season.
