I'm not sure I've ever been less optimistic about an Auburn football game since 2012. I'm not sure there's anyway they can win the game short of some food poisoning or flu outbreak.

Super excited for a game there, but after the QB change OUs offense looked good against a really good TN defense. We have no idea what the offense will look like with Hawkins having an entire week of first team reps.

My daughter is a student at Auburn. Her friends who dont have tickets to the game are going to Tuscaloosa and staying with friends there.

I can understand why you are optimistic with a new QB. But watching that OU/TN game Saturday, Tennessee took their foot off the gas after about the third quarter. Their defense stopped bringing hardly any blitzes and they went more to a base defense.
With 2 minutes to go in the third quarter, Oklahoma had 93 yards of total offense. Once Tennessee went vanilla on defense, Hawkins was then able to have some success.

According to Freeze, if Auburn wins, it's because of him and Jesus; if they lose, it's on the players.

The expression "good Lord willing and the Creeks don't rise" is a fixture in southern slang, but was literally a reference to the Creek Indians, not flooding.

This is where you are mistaken. Our Creeks love OU. After Jackson and people in the southeast stole their land, they were given land in Oklahoma which they still have. Rather than steal their land we just moved in to be neighbors.
That curse works against you not us.

Too bad you don’t have a backup for Seth Littrel

Dont worry tailback,
There is always room on the Georgia bandwagon if you find being an Auburn fan too tough.
