All those huge TV markets and the BIG is getting crushed by the SEC in viewership.

Top 10 most watched games. Not ONE BIG matchup
Only 2 BIG matchups in the top 25.Meanwhile 17 of the top 25 were SEC matchups.
Shows you how stupid their conference expansion was they went for "eyeballs and TV sets" instead of markets that actually watch CFB.

We have Atlanta, Dallas, Houston, Austin, Nashville, Miami, Tampa, New Orleans, St. Louis, etc.
We have some big markets.

Ohio State blowing everyone out = lower ratings
Michigan/Ohio State will be #1 come Monday.

The issue with the Big 10 is that they haven't had many interesting matchups.
Here are the games between big 10 teams that have happened already between teams currently in playoff contention (2 losses or less).
Indiana vs Oregon.
That's it. There have been no other games between Ohio State, Indiana, Oregon and Michigan to date (big 10 teams with 2 or fewer losses).
The SEC?
UGA vs Bama
UGA vs Ole Miss
Bama vs OU
Bama vs Vandy
Ole Miss vs OU
If you add 3 loss teams, the Big 10 adds:
USC vs Michigan
Oregon vs USC
UW vs OSU
UW vs Michigan
The SEC adds:
UGA vs Texas
OU vs Texas
Vandy vs Texas
UGA vs Tenn
Bama vs Tenn
OU vs Tenn
It's just numbers. There are more games of significance being played in the SEC than the Big 10. That draws viewers.

And has almost no viewership if they weren't playing a SEC team.
BTW,what part of BIG matchups do you not understand?
Hint: It means BIG vs BIG

And didn't even make the top 25...kinda makes my point.

Is there a way to figure out how much ABC made off our games compared to CBS and NBC?

For OU to be "not SEC ready" and "The New Nebraska" we sure do have a lot of folks around the country who love to watch us play.

Commish needs to renegotiate TV deals after season. Everyone else gets to redo contracts. SEC needs to reap rewards of more eyeballs.

Even Cupcake week SEC had 3 of top 4
SEC was smart with their 2 expansions. All 4 added teams are in their circle of reach.
B10 was stupid adding those far western teams. Its not just distance its a massive cultural difference.
What does B10 have to match just these 2 games from SEC on the same day:
Bama at OU
Tx at GA
Week before last and after top two it drops like a cliff. B10 could never have 2 games same day that draw like that.
B10 has tOSU/Michigan but thats about it. SEC has so many known teams that each year the teams in top half are gonna have massive followings and viewers.

Ohio State about to have both #1 and #2 games.
And potentially #1, #2 and #3 after next week if we make it to the BIG vs Indiana

There are very few top 10 matchups.
The B1G is just a patsy league to ensure Ohio State gets into the CFP every year.

Yep the middle of the road Big 10 teams don't draw viewers like 2/3 of the SEC does.

Yet somehow those midwestern and west coast schools still can compete for players. Sankey fricked the conference
