Is completely unwarranted. You are jumping on a freshman like he's a 5th year senior or something.
Joe Milton was a 6th year senior ffs. Any comparisons are retarded.
Joe Burrow didn't become a dominant QB until his senior season and Jayden Daniels was a 5th year senior who Tennessee made look absolutely terrible in a game in his fourth collegiate season in 2022. Pump the brakes people.
My only complaint about him is he needs to run more and take the open rushing lanes quickly and decisively. But his ceiling is still very high.

The media and the fans have put way too much expectation and pressure on the guy way too early in his development. Beyond it being his sixth game, he’s also only played about 17 quarters of football at the D1 level. Doesn’t help that his offensive line can’t block.

You're right by his second year in college he can't be expected to know not to run out of bounds on the last play of the game. That'd be asking way too much.

I don't think anyone hates Nico just the fact that y'all kept pimping him as the 2nd coming of christ that was annoying.
He will be fine he just needs to speed up his reads which will come with experience.
