Kentucky is the only team that UF played and didn't beat last season.
I was hoping UK would beat Bama in the SEC tourney to get a rematch.

2025 was the first time since 1964 that Florida/Kentucky only played once during the regular season.

Could be 2006 and 2007 all over again. I mean, not like you guys haven't done back-to-back before.
Both of those teams had 5 players averaging double figures in Noah, Green, Brewer, Horford and Humphrey.
I was at the game in Fayetteville in February '06 when Noah fouled out in OT and we won 85-81. I think the only victory we had against that team in that 2 year span. Heck of a game.
Not surprised to see Florida win it all again. Let me pile on some expectations

Seriously it is good to have some expectations again, even though there is no way we repeat. It is a very rare thing, and we lost some really good players. Hopefully we will be one of the better teams in the conference, but lots of SEC teams have really improved their rosters through recruiting and the portal.

Would be hard to repeat even if everyone came back, but we'll be competitive with anyone and fun to watch.

6'11 Viktor Mikic will likely get garbage minutes over Rioux. Heard the staff is high on him and he didn't hit the portal so I'd be surprised if he doesn't see the court a bit next year.
Oli probably won't start seeing the court until the 26-27 season.
