Doesn't the East have 3 teams in the top 10?

Why don't we wait until all of us get through a decent portion of the SEC schedule? That doesn't usually even begin until game 6 of the schedule.

Everyone thought Auburn was a dumpster fire last year but they beat Arkansas and they should have beaten Bama last year.

Sure they could. Would it be fair to say that Georgia could lose one of these games?

They could, but it may be less likely than Bama losing one... simply because UT is at home and UK/UF aren't built to take advantage of the weakest part of UGA's defense (the secondary).

MSU is actually the game I worry about the most out of those 4 even though they're probably the worst team. They run an attack that does target UGA's weakest link defensively, they are at home and UGA could easily be overlooking them as opposed to being on their A game.

I am hoping the big Hog QB doesn't have a Steven Garcia Day vs Bama.

I think Georgia is terrified of facing Bama in the SECCG.

Bama is the toughest draw from the west, but there is nothing particularly terrifying about them for UGA. I think there are more player mismatches going UGA's way in a matchup this year than there were last season.

I can see Bama losing all three. Arkansas not likely to make the same mistakes they made last week. Player and coaching mistakes. A&M is still coming together as a team. After the first quarter A&M beat Arkansas pretty handily. Tenn looks for real this year. Bama was pretty underwhelming with what has proved to be a weak arse Texas team. This coming weekend will be the most interesting in a while.

Do you mean like hog DBs not being able to make a tackle? Or turning the ball over? Sure!

I don't think Arkansas, with no real reliable WR threat, can beat Alabama. I don't particularly like them coming in off a loss, but I don't think they have the pieces to win this game this year.

An undefeated Tennessee hosting Alabama and trying to erase 15 years of beatdowns probably has me the most concerned. Hooker's ability to play with his feet is that X factor that can swing a game. That will be the toughest game, especially based on where it is placed on the schedule with all of the offseason hype around the A&M game.

OK... there is so much about that statement that would make a professional gambler cry as well... Or laugh uncontrollably as to how retarded it is. I mean a day one lesson of gambling is that the last hand has zero bearing on the current one.

All good points, but will the moment be too big for Hooker and the Vols? The lights will be very bright, can they keep their shades on the whole game? We shall see.

I think the bigger issue is to look at whether Tenn defense gets more stops against our offense than our defense gets against their offense and I believe the answer is no.

After watching the Kent State game, I see Ga losing to two of those teams and to Tenn.

Maybe wait until a pattern emerges for UGA before making that call. Even then, a turnaround isn't out of the question like 'Bama struggling for a few games and then turning it on in Atlanta a week after the Iron Bowl.

So, your opinion is that "the real" UGA is the team that played against KSU, not the first 3 games of the year... rather than the prevailing opinion being that UGA just slacked off for a game?

What's your reason for thinking that? How did UGA perform so much better against Oregon if Kent State is who they "really are"?

It's not like UGA is untested this year. They've already beaten a top 15 team by 46 points.

If we had a competent secondary I think we’d give them a real fight at Neyland. Problem is we don’t and they’ll probably expose it. I guess dumber things have happened
