2010. Since then he has 8 losses in the SEC.

Those losses combined for 46 points.
Alabama won 2 games this year by more than that total.

2014 Bama was lucky. Got a missed Facemask call that led to a Bama TD. You know how that goes.

2015 Agreed. But you need everything you can get to win at BDS.

Saban is the goat and what he is doing will never be duplicated but the SEC fans that are praying for his retirement so Alabama will disappear is joking themselves. Alabama has been and will be dominant without him. They will always be top dog in the SEC. I’m just glad in my lifetime that LSU has been in that next tier with Florida as the sec top dogs after bama

I’m not naive enough to think Bama drops off like Nebraska or Miami.

However there will be a drop off from the GOAT coach. No matter what. They’ll still play for titles.

However I will bet cold hard cash that whoever replaces Saban will have more 10-11 win seasons in his first 5 years as Saban did in his whole career at Bama.

They will still be elite. However it’ll take a while for their fans to accept 11-2 as a really good season and only winning a Natty every 5-6 years. Instead of 1-3 years.

If that’s your down cycle you should be happy.

I find it pretty insane that saban is 14-0 against Arkansas and Tennessee. You’d think they’d slip one in there in a down year or something but nope. Dude is hands down the goat.

But LSU will always be where he cut his teeth. We’ll take it.

God the melt at the first non-double digit win season. I don't want access to the internet when it happens. The melt will raise the sea level.

frick Saban for bringing success to a shitty school that didn't deserve saving.

Bama is due some hard times, can't happen soon enough IMO.

Yeah... Alabama is good.

LSU gets the most shite because Saban basically derailed our golden age, and this is an LSU site.

The only thing ending Alabama's dominance in any foreseeable future is if college players start getting paid (I mean above the board). It may start off as an innocuous concession to those who feel the players are being exploited by the big bad colleges that offer them ONLY a college education for their services, but once started down that road there is no turning back.

How long before things progress to salary caps and allocations of 5 stars based on W-L records. You don't have to look too far for the model. Give a kid a choice??? No, he's getting paid. This isn't about education anymore. It's business!

Hey, why should I care. Maybe MU will get some 5 stars for a change. Vandy?...they're in!
