Alabama is negotiating to schedule a home-and-home football series with Notre Dame, The Tuscaloosa News has learned. Alabama is also working on a home-and-home deal with Texas.
The Crimson Tide last participated in an out-of-conference home-and-home series in 2010-11 against Penn State, hosting the Nittany Lions in 2010 and traveling to State College, Pa., in 2011.
UA Director of Athletics Greg Byrne would not confirm that the schools are in talks, but did say the athletic department is pursuing future two-game deals that would have Alabama play a game at Bryant-Denny Stadium and also play on the opposing school’s campus.
“I’ll say that we are exploring some home-and-homes,” Byrne said.
Neither deal has not been finalized.

A kickoff game versus Southern Cal in Arlington is also being planned for 2020.

LSU has a home and home with Texas coming up. Seems like they’re trying to get into SEC territory like the SEC is in Texas.

Saban setting up the next guy with tough schedules lmao. Saban always thinking ahead. I’m kidding of course but wouldn’t that be funny.

We're at Notre Dame in 2020 and get Texas at home in 2021.

Jealous. I certainly don’t mind playing old North Carolina foes, but I do wish we branched out more.
Hell we had a home and Home with GT set for 2019-2020 that got cancelled that I would’ve liked to see.

Wouldn’t mind a home and home with Texas or Michigan

Those Louisville tickets in Orlando must be selling like total shite.
The 2019 Duke in Atlanta game will be even worse.

I can relate. I think we were supposed to play Ohio State next year, but they cancelled. Michigan cancelled on us a few years ago, too. The Texas game in 2021 was supposed to be played like 15 years ago, but it was delayed multiple times.

Saban setting up his predecessor with tough schedules lmao.
Saban is making Mike Shula's schedule harder over 10 years after the fact?
Savage.

Where is AU24 and the rest of his crew telling us how Bama doesn't schedule quality opponents?

Well we already play the 8 game conference schedule and Clemson every year. Not quite as easy for us to add yet another top team as it is for the teams that don't have an out of conference rival.

Gt and all the triple option teams wouldn't be on my wish list, though it would be nice to play the other usc.

It's about freaking time. I drop a lot on season tickets and Tide Pride and playing a couple of Mercers a year is getting old.
