f Georgia's secondary plays the way it did against Tenner, it's going to be a long day for the Dawgs

I'm not as down on them as I was at first glance.

-The first long TD, our CB was right there with the WR but the ball had a hangtime of 18 seconds and our guy just got the timing fricked up and gave up an easy one
-The long one late our CB was pretty much in picture perfect coverage. I mean you can't be positioned any better. The WR used his shoulders as a launch pad though and won a jump ball. Not much you can do there.

I'd be FAR more concerned if UT's gusy were just running open in space all day but that wans't really the case.

Alabama.

Georgia can't beat Alabama in the regular season, everyone knows that.

UGA by 10. Game is in Athens for the first time in 10 years. At night. UGA is a different animal in Athens than they are in Tuscaloosa or Atlanta and Alabama has shown some tendency to struggle on the road. All that said Alabama has UGAs number so another close win by Alabama would be disappointing if not at all surprising....

If Alabama wins it won’t be close. We get the close game cause that means our suspect defense showed up.

The Dawgs win.

Gunner and Co. will break the Saban curse.

Bama has won the last 2.

This "curse" is overrated.

I like Georgia at home. If Bama wins, Ty Simpson plays the game of his life.

Bama played in Athens under Kirby in 2015 and they wrecked us. Yeah, I know what you meant though.

Ty and the receivers are more than capable. Can the Bama defense get enough stops? That's the question.

Idk both look questionable.

UGA had to cheat at home to beat Georgia Tech. UGA barely escaped a team that let UAB drop 400 yards on them.

Bama lost the very definition of a trap game to a team that could be in the playoffs.

Stats wise you would pick Georgia, gut says bama.

If Tennessee scored 41 on that vaunted defense, Bama can put up a lot of points.

Georgia's a more complete team (they can run ie control LOS offensive line), showed the world they can play and win with composure under adversity and insane circumstances (trailing 21-7 to Tenn after 1Q at Knoxville), and this is at home at night. I'm fully aware Bama's had their number from Saban extending into Kalen Dubose but I predict UGA breaks the curse with this game. I say that fully knowing what Deboer's Bama brings into games like this ie UGA and LSU 2024 but UGA's just a better squad in coaching, talent, and performance. If they truly are the better team and avoid costly mistakes, they should win, period. UGA's my pick and was before the season started.
