I agree, part of Bama's relatively "low" ranking in Total Defense might be attributed to the fact that the backups have played quite a bit.... However, Bama's also faced some very poor opponents. The schedule will get much more difficult with MSU, LSU, AU, and potentially UGA down the road. So I think that balances out.

I think the best way to answer it is they have performed about as well as anybody could ever want against sub-par competition and an average team.

We don't really know for sure how that will translate against upper level and elite teams for sure, so we can only guess. But we'll find out.

I’ve got some Jezebels going over to Tuscaloosa to make Tua get transfixed by that poontang.

I think Tua has been 'tanged to death since 2nd & 26.

You Yanks let your children suck on a pacifier. In England a whiny, bratty child would use what we call a cork. Centuries ago it was an actual cork like you would use to stop a wine bottle. It where you get the phrase "put a cork in it"

In short all you whiners about Bama can suck on a cork.

Their team has yet to face adversity, and their god has yet to play a full game, or under stress for that matter.

Down 13 at half, I'll take Tua over Joe "Depends" Burrow. Tua has succeeded on the highest stage and overcome adversity with flying colors.

Didnt ask which QB you would take. I would take Tua too.

I asked how bama would respond when they finally face adversity, in a hostile environment, having to fight a team capable of punching back.

Last year or no, every single player who starts for us on offense this year was a major contributor on that offense in that game. To say adversity is foreign to them is factually incorrect.

As I have yet to see a team in the SEC capable of punching back, this is a difficult question to answer.

So in your mind experience players get from the prior season does not carryover to the current season?

Im not refuting that... But are you really hanging your hat on the fact that they are battle-tested and ready for a top 5 dog fight because they faced adversity 9 months ago with a different team, to close out a different season?

Again, Im not saying they aren't up to the challenge and wont be (likely heavy) road favorites against LSU, but to say this 2018 bama team has faced real adversity is fricking laughable.

Defenses being bad doesn’t necessarily effect Tys decisions or accuracy. Arkansas defense while not great has improved. But to be honest until we see Bamas first team play an entire game defensive and offensive rankings don’t matter. I am really looking forward to November to see how great this team is. If Bama can put up big numbers against LSU no one is beating this team this year or possibly next.

Are you saying they are all stupid and incapable of recalling experiences that occurred within the same calendar year?
