I don't expect us to win this game, but we will keep it closer than that and I actually think we match up well with Alabama. We have been solid against the run. Intermediate to deep passes have given us trouble, but Alabama has been very inconsistent in that area. Plus, I think we could put some pressure on Jalen. The big question mark is whether or not we will be able to score on them.

We won’t be able to score that easily. That’s the reason for this line. Mond is still relatively one dimensional, and Saban’s defense will have a field day with that.

That being said, frick the gumps. A&M wins by 30.

I don't either. This is one of those games that everyone says is easy money. This is one of those games that everyone uses in a parlay.

These "easy money" games have fricked many a parlays up. Of course I think Bama is going to win but wouldn't be surprised if Bama doesn't cover. This is how bookmakers make a killing.

No way to go through an entire season rolling up 50+ points and giving up less than a TD. No matter what your competition is.
It's like a cat 5 hurricane maintaining strength for an inordinate amount of time.
There will be at least one of those "that games" where any good team will inexplicably play like shite at the same time the opponent plays a terrific game.

For whatever reason, A&M seems to fare better than most think they would against Alabama.

We had pretty good yardage production last year, and I think we have a better base rushing attack. Heck, I think we can get to 14 or 17 points.

I think they don't cover. Just a fan's hunch on this one.

Your plan is to try and run on Bama? Good luck with that.

Bama wins by at least 40, maybe 50. Give the points and don't sweat it. If Shea Patterson can't throw a TD, Kellen Mond sure won't be able to. Bookies lose their arse on this one.

Well everyone one knows size and speed are all it takes to be better than Deshaun Watson.

If you don't have respectable line play on both sides against Bama, you are in danger of Vandy/OM beat downs.

Is A&M man enough up front? I really don't think so.

We have the line play. Just not Bama elite. Our secondary is weak though. You will have a heisman front runner after Saturday

Are you taking the points or no?

Lol yes. The only victory I’m hoping for is no key players getting hurt.

SEC is currently meeting to decide if this game should be rated X.

No one under 18 admitted due to the blood and violence.

This will not be pretty.

This is an excellent question. The answer is no, we don't have the level of line play that Bama does.

But the OLine has gotten better. After a few games, and against SEC competition, we have seen improvement. Just not at the same level of competition as Bama.

The DLine is good enough to hang with Bama if A&M doesn't commit turnovers. But with a true freshman QB, that's not likely. So that's why everyone is taking Bama

I'm sure weird stuff can happen to keep it closer than it should be. In 2005 we took the best Texas team in history to the wire in a game we went into as 19 point underdogs IIRC. Texas was beating people by 30-40 PPG that year. We basically ran the veer with McGee and caught them completely off guard.

But yeah, it's most likely gonna be a bloodbath.
