I was at the earthquake game. Ive been to more games in Death Valley than most on this board. I love LSU.
When A&M closes in and goes to 102,000 it will be there. At times it already is.

It also mentions Deloss Dodds was going to bring it up the noise as an issue for being too loud and the officials halting play because it was too loud!
Nice allcaps though.
Amazing how much effort the rant will go to to try and make things they hate go away.
A&M is in the top 5 loudest stadiums. search 30 different sources and look at the results.
Sorry you don't want it to be - but it is.
Halting play for being too loud is analogous to earthquake game.
Have you ever heard of that. No.

Damn, these faggies are trying sooooooo hard to be one of the cool kids.
Hint, as long as your "cheerleaders" are grabbing their balls and screaming like juvenile delinquents at a fricking slip knot concert, you will be quarantined to the freaks and geeks table.
Deal with it.

FWIW, after the Bama game:
TexAgs' Billy Liucci on Bryant Denny: "The loudest stadium I've ever been in, and there's not a close #2."
They later interviewed an A&M DB... can't remember, maybe Stephen Terrell, who said the same thing along with "those people are retarded", which I believe he meant as a compliment.
I haven't been to Ben Hill Griffin yet or Death Valley, but I have no doubt they're very loud. Some idiots on here make stupid comments about so-and-so isn't loud, but I think most take those comments for what they're worth. The SEC has some unbelievably loud stadiums. I'm glad A&M can boost those ratings for ya just a bit.
Edit: Got mixed up a bit on real names vs. nicknames.

It was a big deal... In 1985. That was 30 years ago.
The quarterback was worried his team couldn't hear his audibles, so he took a step back.
How many times does that happen in every single big game that gets played in today's atmosphere of college football? How many times a game does the quarterback have to walk down the line of scrimmage behind pretty much every lineman and scream out the play call or audible? It happens a lot. Apparently in 1985, the QB would just throw his hands up and feel helpless.

It was a big deal in 1985 because apparently they had just come out of an era where crowd noise was considered "bad" and an unfair advantage - to the point that it was against the rules.
So yeah, Texas A&M has a loud stadium. I don't think anyone is disputing that. But to suggest that it's something that Bama players haven't heard before, or to use an article from 1985 to suggest that A&M's stadium is a step above everyone else in regards to crowd noise is pretty silly.

I was at BDS and wasn't that impressed Billy Luicci must have had his hearing aid turned up full blast.
Its loud when you go to the game and never hear even one peep of noise from the visitors band.
