Multiple universities and student athletes have gone deep into the new world of Name, Image, and Likeness across college athletics. Alabama has become the latest university to unveil a NIL collective, titled High Tide Traditions.

The High Tide Traditions website is being used to help connect Alabama student athletes with NIL opportunities across the state and also the entire nation.

“High Tide Traditions was established to harness the power of Name, Image, and Likeness with student-athletes to make and propel positive business relationships across the city, state, region and nation,” the website states. “Through strategic partnerships utilizing data analytics, it is important to High Tide Traditions that student-athletes will be engaged in amplifying the exposure for our business partners through relatable and authentic content, appearances, and other mutually beneficial services.”

On the website, Alabama offers a free NIL assessment for student athletes. The four main pillars of High Tide Traditions spell out “TIDE,” and offer a number of opportunities for NIL growth for Alabama’s student athlete population.

Teamwork: “Collaborating to create mutual value”
Innovate: “Unlocking the potential of NIL through data analytics and custom partnership opportunities”
Discover: “Building partnerships that promote student-athlete growth”
Elevate: “Developing a launch point for student-athletes in both athletics and industry”

In creating High Tide Traditions, Alabama is trying to find business opportunities all over to help create NIL opportunities for student athletes.

Man that video.

If someone were to see that video and let’s say had no clue about college football or who they were. I’m trying to think what my initial reaction would be and thoughts.

I remember back in the day going to see a movie in the montrose area of Houston. This couple sat in front of me that had a pretty big age gap. Needless to say, I decided to not go back to that theatre.

Does this mean Paul Bryant Jr no longer gets his skim $$??

Also, rebranding the Dodge Charger and mall suit shop program still ain't gonna produce the amount of billionaires baking programs in Texas and Arkansas...

I'm not sure how receptive the REC will be to the new way of doing things.
