I actually don't hate it. HC experience. Won decent enough at Washington to be hired away by USC. Seems to be sober and probably learned a lot since his USC years.

Washington:
2005: 2-9 (1-7)
2006: 5-7 (3-6)
2007: 4-9 (2-7)
2008: 0-12 (0-9)
-----become HC
2009: 5-7 (4-5)
2010: 7-6 (5-4)
2011: 7-6 (5-4) - Lost to #11, #7 Standford, #6 Oregon, #13 USC, Oregon State, #15 Baylor
2012: 7-6 (5-4) - lost to #LSU, #2 Oregon, #13 USC, Arizona, Washington State, #14 Boise State
2013: 8-4 (5-4) - lost to #11 Stanford, #9 Oregon, #21 Ariaonza State, #16 UCLA

Yeah it was pretty funny. They desperately wanted to hire Chris Peterson away from Boise St. But Peterson turned them down. So then USC ends up hiring Sark from Washington, who started their terrible decline and gets fired for being a drunk.

Meanwhile, Washington now in need of a coach hires Peterson from Boise St to replace Sark, and makes the playoffs a few years later.

Real interest died when it was discovered that Steve Sarkisian's father was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. It’s something to keep an eye on.
