From BHAM radio guy

quote:

There is some real interest on both sides between Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and Mississippi State. It’s something to keep an eye on.

A former USC/Washington HC?

I didn't understand why he wasn't considered in the first place.

Yes he's a high risk high reward. But it takes that to win here.

He is good offense material. Head coach not so much. He might need to take a longer intern under saban than his buddy lane Kiffin did

Didn't yall not want JM because he was a Yankee? USC & Washington is cool though?

Yeah. Saban made it clear on the HBO documentary, and this is the type of move Saban would not approve.

It would mean the ONLY reason the 2 head coaches in Mississippi were there is because they worked for Nick Saban.

Same goes for Tennessee. And UGA. And South Carolina.

Basically half the SEC would have their current HC because they are trying to duplicate 1/16th what Saban has done at Bama.

If we hire Sark, I might completely lose interest in college football.

Although Bama did get it's use out of Sark. They pulled the #1 QB, who was a lifelong USC fan, b/c he was recruiting since him was like 12.

So he can move on as far as Bama is concerned.

The ONLY reason? A former NFL head coach who also coached USC and Tennessee and was successful in his most recent gig couldn’t get hired at the University of Inbreeds I mean Mississippi without working for Saban?
