This thread is cringeworthy. Comparing losses? Really?

Meh, we had a better season, won more games, won the SEC and will have a better team next year. I wouldn't trade places with Bama that is for sure.

Both teams should feel bad for damaging the "SEC is a good basketball conference now" image.

Yeah...not every school can enhance the conference image like LSU has been doing.

To me it seems like simple math. Auburn returns this entire team that steamrolled the SEC until Mclemore got injured plus add Samir Doughty and could return Wiley and Purifoy. If they ALL come back then you are looking at a top 5 type team and preseason SEC champs. Purifoy not coming back (although he averaged 12 ppg and 5 reb as fresh) won't change too much. Wiley going pro drops that team down to a top 15ish type team.

Exactly. 26-14

Thanks for the break to get our guys ready.

Bama won yet another NC, so thanks!

Also Alabama was 2-1 vs Auburn in the season.

Alabama basketball > Auburn basketball.

So what you are saying is, Auburn beat Alabama head to head in football, so

Auburn Football > Alabama football.

LSU was terrible last season and was predicted to finish last in the conference. I'd say that 6 quadrant 1 wins (more than Alabama BTW) and making it at least to the second round of the NIT in Wade's first season is enhancing the SEC.
