Oh no sir, the REC doesn't use old methods like a checkbook. I've spoken too much.

I’ve always maintained that I agree that Bama gets favorable calls (especially at critical moments in games) but that it was not a conscious effort by the refs. You see it in every sport. The “big team” or the “big name player” gets away with far more than others or gets that favorable call when needed. It’s a subconscious decision by officiating crews due to an inate belief that “the best” can not make the same mistakes as “not the best”.

Whether you like it or not, last years beat down by Clemson, hurt the public view of Alabama. No longer was Alabama the dominant male. No, it had been beaten badly by a younger, stronger male who now took control of the group.

Actually they are almost annually at the very top in "least opponents penalties" but hey whatever makes you sleep. Alabama's problems with penalties likely have to do with being forced to play guys this year before they are ready.

I used to think this line was a joke. A parody to make fun of the conspiracy theorists.

As it turns out, you people are just psychotic and addicted to being the victim. Your very own purple and yellow #MeToo movement.

In big games they decide to “let-them-play” until a team playing Alabama has a big play, then expect the holding call against that team. Or it is tied for three quarters, Bama is being challenged, they allow those Bama blocks to be sustained or allow a push in the back to free someone up. When their is no threat of loss, Bama gets flagged at the same rate as anyone else. Three losses of LSU to Bama was directly assisted by the refs. Bama could not win as much as they do in big games without assistance.

WHy do your AD and Coach allow this to continue?

Exactly. The great thing about conspiracy theories is you can make the facts for the theory
But in this case, it’s actually true.

Get over yourself. I made ZERO mention of Alabama. I said total number of penalties is basically irrelevant compared to the types and timing of things called/not called.

That's for every team and game.
