It would take a 10-1 Indiana to lose to a 1-10 Purdue or a 10-1 Penn State to lose to a 4-7 Maryland.
The B1G will have four teams
The Big 12 will have one team.
The MW will have one.
Notre Dame will be at large.
The ACC will have two.
The SEC will end up with three.
Based on SOS, a 10-3 Georgia would trump a 9-3 Bama or 9-3 Ol' Miss.

LOL what in the frick are you babbling about. I've been here posting under the same name for over 15 years. I have the US Navy as my "favorite team" bc I spent 8 years serving. I also attended LSU prior to joining and graduated from Nicholls St after I got out.

The amount of frickery that would have to occur next weekend for us to make the playoffs is so astounding that if I REALLY believed it was happening, I would use that same level of confidence to mortgage my house and buy lottery tickets.
