Counterpost : LSU has scored 24 points against Alabama 1 time in the last 10 games. Sucky Alabama offense vs FSU would still generally beat LSU.

Irrelevant

Slightly More Relevant: LSU has score less than 24 points against the following teams:

Florida
Miss State
TROY

You sure seem to know a lot about a team you're not scared of.

After next week, we will still have only faced one decent defense. The SEC sans UGA and Bama is pretty moribund.

LSU D is suspect against the run though this year. Not sure if Bama will need more than 96 pass yards.

Very true. This is what scares me the most.

L6U has scored more than 17 points against Alabama exactly zero times since Nov. 7 2010.

I feel like we hear some sort of variation of this every year.

LSU needs to try to score more than the ZERO they scored last year against Bama. That's goal one. then we can look at goal two - more than 20 for the first time since 2010.

Good thing we didn't play Troy, I guess.

So that's how that works. The more you know about something, the more afraid you are of it.

I guess that explains why your fanbase is so fricking stupid.

inb4 "STUPID! ALABAMA FAN! HURHURRRR!" That's some low-hanging fruit. Do better.

Alabama is giving up 7.5 PPG against P5 teams. 9.5 PPG vs SEC teams

Is this strictly defensive stats? Because the D pitched a shutout last week.

Alabama averages 6.34 YPC, good for 4th in the nation.

LSU gives up an average of 4.35 YPC, all the way down at 66th in the nation.

I wouldn't be surprised if LSU's defense, with all that talent, managed to shut our offense down. But I could see Bama's run game going through LSU like shite through a tin horn.
