This is a weird thread...we don't need a conference butt buddy. Having lived in both places, I can say confidently that Aggy & Alabama have almost nothing in common.

Does Ms. sTate have the resources/posters and time to acclimate all those Longhorns though? And, really, would the Texas fans look down on Mississippi States football tradition too much to allow them to be mentored by STate fans?

Texas fans look down on everyone too much to be mentored.

Ah I feel ya. I’ve lurked here but just started posting. Dude most fans are normal. We keep our mouths shut when we suck. Ask OU. We only seem friendly now cause they feeling sorry for how shitty we been. We’ll be leaving the board relatively alone too once this shite cools down. Aggie/LSU alters aside.

Edit: Dead serious about allowing a fluke football season for Texas though. It would ruin any chance of a peaceful co-existence forever.

Missouri came in and absolutely dominated the SEC East for quite a while, maybe 2 seasons?, and they didn't act like that.

Texas fans can behave as well as Missouri fans did, if they win big in their first season, can't they?

Stay on topic or start your own thread. We are here trying to help Texas so they don't wither on the vine when they feel the heat of the SEC schedule.

Your football fandom is no longer going to be about dominating a bunch of scared little bible colleges so, several attitude realignments are going to be in order to cure the arrogance of many Texas fans.

I fail to see how Alabama beating the piss out of Aggy every year is a mentorship.

Na! We only reserve all that for A&M and some of the former Big 12 teams..Not all Texas fans are Liberals...I vote R every election...The state is still Red for now, but you are right, the Texas fans that are Liberal seem to be arrogant jerks.

Honestly with the amount of T-shirt fans...no chance. I do think it’s best to help make us feel welcome. There are enough stand alone T-shirt fans to be a toxic mess given the right circumstances lol

I resent this as there is a subtle yet distinct difference between a redneck and a hillbilly. Sincerely, a redneck.

Truthfully I’ve had great times with Texas and Oklahoma fans on gameday. Everyone (especially aggies) trying to shite on them comes off as insecure.

Truthfully I’m here to see how much of the UT propaganda A&M, Arky, and Missou have pushing and it’s kinda of sad to see the amount of people who actually believe some of this shite floating around in here. We got a few years to get used to the idea I guess lol.

That's because it was an out of conference game. We loved playing SEC schools when we were in the DogShit 12 conference. We looked up to the big boys in the SEC and had mad respect for ya'll.

We played a snow bowl game against Mississippi State with Jackie Sherill and RC Slocum and it was nothing but love and respect.

When UT stomped our arse in the Cotton Bowl we were in awe of the Vols and their fans.

There is just something different between conference games and nonconference that brings out the hate. Also, you are going to get really fricking tired of the repetitiveness of the OU chants and band. Most annoying gameday experience I've seen.

Seems like most people on here only know fanbases through the internet
Get out of your bubbles

Texas is a large diverse state and you will find UT fans all over the state with all different types of backgrounds
Don’t know who that is like.

But truthfully don’t need protection. Not aggy. Their manhood has been taken.
Why they need someone to protect them
