wings and allows them to gracefully and slowly enter the SEC without too much pressure being put on them immediately.

Which SEC fans are kindred spirits with the Longhorn fans? There have to be friendships. Bama fans and A&M fans have a decent amount of shared football experiences, coaches, connections, etc... that have allowed us to form a unique bond among fans.

This is serious and I know it's ripe to be hilariously picked apart, but Texas must have a sponsor to help them adapt and learn our customs and rules.

Maybe LSU fans could step up on this one since Louisisana and Texas are so close and y'all are probably more familiar with them than most in the SEC. The LSU fans in this pacle could definitely befriend them and make them feel welcomed; roll out the purple and gold welcome mat.

You will soon learn that Texas doesn't give a flying frick about your customs and they ain't here to learn, they are here to teach. They will try to bend you to their every whim and desire and they won't do shite to adjust to the culture of the SEC.

They are here to make money and run the place. Period. That is what they do.

This is only their fourth conference marriage. It will work out this time. Or so I am told.

You will also learn that Texas fans in the liberal mecca of Austin view Bammers as ignorant trailer trash, redneck hillbillies. Even when you beat their arse on the field they will crow about their superior academics and culture.

Naturally, and that is expected. I wasn't really advocating for Bama fans to welcome them here; I personally can't stand them.

The LSU fans do kind of have some of the same cultural norms as Longhorns though.

They are arrogant, sure, but anyone or anything can be disabused of that type of attitude with persuasion. The persuasion will most likely come when they find that even little bit teams like South Carolina, Ms. State, etc... can beat you much easier than many weakling Big 12 teams could.

They, with the help of Bama's SEC Office, will quickly find that there are quite a few old SEC teams that will NEVER relinquish their levers of power within the SEC.

It won't be a new world for us, but for them. Bet on it.

Never saw a cowboy riding a horse wearing jorts...so that leaves out Florida.

Of course the Gator head coach is upset at us because we packed the stadium last year with 343,000 fans all sitting behind their bench.

I vote Auburn to take the hit. No one will will ever know.
