I know this wasn't the point of the article, but I find it kind of interesting that Moses was brought to SEC Media days.

He's not the caliber of player that Alabama would point to as one of their best on defense.

Is he really going to lead the charge defensively this year?

Perfect example of an anti-Alabama fan. Bama success has destroyed his love for his team and replaced with hatred for Bama. It's very common these days.

Lost 44-16. I don’t think the “we beat ourselves” excuse works in this scenario.

It was a total arse whipping.

Look another one...

Sorry I'm late to your party Big W. I support your thread, but it's way too long to read the OP.

This is completely true. How is he the starting linebacker on a Nick Saban defense? There has to be someone better than him.

I got you fam, here's a summary:

- Saban = nonsense

- Saban and Alabama = delusional and arrogant

- Clemson was better + is still better + new superpower

- Fake FG was clueless

- Dylan Moses is not good

- QB can't stay healthy, defense bad

- Tuna half as good as Big Trevor

- Dabo is a better coach

I dislike the article...but, he's not wrong. It's okay to tip your hat and say the other team was just better that night. We'll be back, and I hope we will have a chance to get our payback against the taters.

How many times has the dynasty been over now?

2008 Florida? 2010 Auburn? 2011 LSU? 2012 A&M? 2013 Auburn? 2014 Ohio State? 2016 Clemson? 2018 Clemson?

ESPN article basically saying the same thing as the OP

Figured I'd get it in this thread since willie is going to bump it every time it stagnates anyways.

I like how the general premise of these articles is that Alabama played it's best game and it just wasn't enough.

Reminds me a lot of 2015 after the Ole Miss 5 turnover loss.

Some players were supposedly too worried about the NFL and some coaches were supposedly too focused on their next jobs to truly give it their best against Clemson.

Call it what it is: excuses.

The latest in their epic four-game, playoff-only series was so convincing a defeat -- the largest margin of Saban's tenure -- that it should have left no doubt who the better team was.
