Alabama is like the New York Yankees. There will be down years and periods, but they're still the Yankees. It will always be easier for them to come back and restore dominance, because the respect and history is immutable.

Too many false championships unlike the Yankees.

And Gump posters will disappear when Bama doesn’t make the playoff.

You mean like you hiding on the recruiting board until Saban retired

I don’t blame LSU, Georgia, and Auburn fans for hating Deboer. He is a combined 6-1 against them.

Does he have a championship ring?

Until the 2012 title game, Les Miles was 3-2 against Saban, all about the long game

He cost LSU boosters $130 million dollars. So I am happy too!

Yeah like we were going to spend a premium on a coach who couldn't even run for positive yardage against Georgia in the SEC title game nor score a touchdown against Indiana

You can keep his arse and Grubb's since Grubb's the real problem, keep them forever

LSU's relevance is based on hiring a coach more interested in social media than game planning - and a tarmac adventure.

You not see what he did for Ole Miss the last 6 years and he brought Glasscock, Weis, AND Kevin Smith with him to Baton Rouge? dude your crimson tide colored glasses are thick to be saying that shite

For the past nearly 40 years, Bama very rarely gets blown out like they did in the Rose Bowl. I think those hoping for that will be greatly disappointed.

I mean it's a trademark of Kalen's teams, they squared up against an all-time great Michigan team and their Joe Moore Award winning offensive line got destroyed

they squared up against a below-average OU team with Jackson Arnold at QB and a playoff spot almost locked in and got demolished 24-3 and it could've been worse

they CLEARLY weren't ready to play a highly motivated FSU team week 1 and we all saw how that went

they got away with a ton of close wins in 2025 Kalen DeBoer 2023 Washington style then got belt to arse so badly in the SEC title game against a UGA team seeking vengeance and boy with -3 rushing yards surrendered they got it

and the ultimate embarrassment for a P4 legendary program getting absolutely destroyed vintage Bama Saban style by Cignetti-coached Indiana in the playoff, they completely looked like they didn't belong

I stopped posting on that board as much when rules weren’t being enforced equally. Your butt buddy, SideTaint got to troll incessantly while others got banned.

To be fair, the entire SEC has taken a step back since Covid. The big 10 has won the last three national championships. Look at their budgets and the ability to spend more and more. Look at their endowments. The storm has arrived and will be hell to fight off.

Rest assured, Vandy will get us back to the top.

LSU just spent $130 million dollars to hire a coach with even less accomplishments than Deboer.

Their deep pockets allow them to stack their rosters. And not just that, some are using the portal to weaken their opponents. Since 2024 Ohio State signed 5 Alabama players, 4 of them were 5 star recruits, 2 ended up being 1st team all-Americans.

The Big 10 has deeper pockets than most SEC schools. They are using the portal to not only improve their own rosters but also to damage SEC rosters. Wait until they decide they want to be good at baseball too.

Yeah because Deboer's in high demand after those 28-7 and 38-3 pastings at the hand of Georgia and Indiana in 2 of his last 3 games

The most glaring sign is the "who can we get" reason for keeping Deboer.

When Alabama has fallen into not being able to name whoever they want, it's pre Bryant level of fall-off

Exactly, and Alabama is not in a market that’s material in terms of NIL dollars (what Saban complained about and warned boosters about constantly before leaving), which is unprecedented for a program that has relied on under the table funds and “legacy.”

Now you have richer, more endowed schools willing to play the game (they have chargers too and then some). So why stay in the racist south when you can go somewhere else and get a better edumacation?

It doesn’t matter where CFB is more popular these days, it’s a matter of where it’s funded and where many black athletes feel appreciated. I’d do the same.

Brian Kelly fricked up by coming to LSU (bad fit anyway) when ND has massive funding + a program that matched his personality and Deboer went to a shite program that was never set up for free markets as opposed to indentured servitude.

Like markets, there’s usually a delay - but I see most signs trending down: Indiana CFP pounding and a loss in recent recruiting. Should compound starting now.
