It’s about time they quit playing these dumb arse neutral site games. It seems like every single year for 10 years straight that they open in Atlanta Dallas or some other random one.

I'm going to guess you've never been to South Bend, SOG?
I haven't, but I know that I get to spend a long weekend in Chicago and a Saturday on campus at Notre Dame.
The descriptions of experienced from my Georgia friends who went to Notre Dame and my Auburn friends that went to Morgantown are......different.

For some reason LSU decided to play two of them with Florida State in the future (New Orleans and Orlando). I don't get it.

For as much as Alabama gets shite on for it, that's some pretty good nonconference scheduling.
Arizona record vs the SEC: 1-9-1. They beat Auburn in the 1970s.
Points for 142, points against 304, for an average beating of 13-28.
Every few years Arizona forgets the last beating an SEC team put on them and schedules one again.
If only I could find footage of Brian Bosworth as the TBS studio guy during the LSU-Arizona game in 2003. The most hilarious sports reporting I’ve ever seen.
TBS using their rival’s helmet in the promo turned out to not be the most embarrassing thing about the game for Arizona.

The campus is pretty nice. Terrible town, though. You're doing the right thing by staying in Chicago.

Sure, but Auburn fans usually have really thin skins. They take trash talk personally. It's like they've never been to LSU.

That beating we gave them in DV in 2005 was biblical
I felt sorry for their QBs

Adding up 2003 and 2006: LSU 104, Arizona 16

Iirc the Arizona coach said LSU was better than USC in 2003. If they would've been decent like they were when we scheduled them, there would've been no BCS controversy

This is true, but I also went to the game in 2014. I mean I wouldn't turn down free transportation and tickets, but it's certainly at the bottom of those road games for me.

Week 2 : LSU (L 59-13)
Week 3 : Oregon (L 48-10)

I'm not sure when LSU's scheduled Washington, but historically I would say that they are the second best team in the Pac 10. When we finally played them in 2009, they were coming off of a winless season. Sark made them respectable again, but they didn't take the next step until Chris Peterson. I've heard that it's a beautiful venue, so I wouldn't mind another home and home with them

2026 looks great, 3 solid non conference games

Some games you just schedule because they are solid, historical programs. It's also one of the reasons I like playing 2 P5 opponents. Odds are at least one of them will be presentable.

LSU playing Rice this season in Houston is an all time head scratcher

I know people that went to that game in 2008. The visitors section was right next to their student section. The WVU students were pissing in balloons and throwing them in the Auburn section. I guess it wouldn't bother you very much to have a piss balloon burst on your back, huh? I've been to Baton Rouge several times. I never had piss thrown on me.

Kind of like Alabama and USF - pretty much a guarantee win in a NFL stadium in an area with a big alumni base not far from home that you heavily recruit.

Recruiting. Your coaches will get to visit area high school games the night before

This is our last year to play a neutral-site game at least until 2029. Is everyone starting to get away from those?
Yes. They were big deal when they first started but now the trend is going back to home & home
