Alabama is on a five game winning streak over UGA, and all five games were played in the state of Georgia.

They were also very loud. Listen to the crowd noise at those two Georgia games from the early-90s and you notice a big difference compared to today. And that was before the expansion that finally enclosed the west side of the stadium to bring seating capacity to roughly 85,000.
Honestly, that 94 UGA game was the only game in my time at Bama that Bryant Denny got loud. Legion Field did a few times, but Bryant Denny in the early to mid 90’s was depressingLu quiet other than that UGA game.
And that 94 game really doesn’t even compare to the 04 Florida game. That is the loudest I’ve ever heard BDS, 09 LSU game a close second.

This is why the current sec schedule is terrible. Mizzo will have been a member of the sec for 11 years, 2023 before LSU travels there for a football game. Not saying I’m excited to go but it’s the only one I’ve yet to visit. Need to get rid of divisions and play 3 permanent and 5 rotating games. That way everyone gets to visit a campus every 4 years

You should be. Columbia is a great college town. The atmosphere is a little different than the rest of the SEC, but it’s a great road trip.

Agree - they have to make changes.

Even though UGA didn’t win it all that year it was definitely the most memorable year for college football.

I'm pretty sure that 94 game was the first night game in Tuscaloosa since the 90 or 91 UGA game.
'90 was in Athens; it was my first game as a UGA student.
UGA came back from down 10 to win 17-16.

Every game we've played outside of Athens since.......1990?, has been decided late in the 4th qtr or OT.
1994 (Tuscaloosa) - Alabama wins on GW kick with 1 minute left
2002 (Tuscaloosa) - Georgia wins on GW kick with 30 secs left
2007 (Tuscaloosa) - Georgia wins on TD throw in Overtime
2012 (Atlanta - GD) - Alabama wins on defensive stop as time expires
2017 (Atlanta - MBS)- Alabama wins on TD throw in Overtime
2018 (Atlanta - MBS) - Alabama wins on TD run with 1 minute left
That's craziness - great games. The 1991 game was basically a blowout compared to those - and Alabama led 7-0 until they made a FG to go up 10-0 with 10 minutes left in the 4th
The 4 in Athens have all been over at halftime
1995 - Alabama 31 - Georgia 0 (Bama 17-0 Half)
2003 - Georgia 37 - Alabama 23 (UGA 37-10 Half)
2008 - Alabama 41 - Georgia 30 (Bama 31-0 Half)
2015 - Alabama 38 - Georgia 10 (Bama 24-3 Half)

Back then most of the north lower level end zone was reserved for the visitors. UGA brought a shite ton of fans and were loud as hell. Right across from the Bama student section made for a damn good atmosphere.
Were any of you UGA fans there?

Which makes it even funnier that they were absolutely throttled in Knoxville by a dog shite VOLS squad
We sucked in the 1st half of that season and that was one of the best vol teams of the 21st century.

If Bama wins, it takes it to 6 straight.
That would allow for sole possesion of the longest streak in the series.
