Like alot of these Louisiana recruits that go to Bama, they are just shallow minded and only see the rings. I’d rather be on the team to dethrone the bully, but majority of these boys want to be with the bully.
They want to play on a team with solid coaching, a stable foundation, a proven system in place. They want o play for a HC that is not set in his ways, and that is willing to adapt to the ever changing environment of college football. They want the guarantee opportunity to play for championships at the highest level and for the best coach in college football. How is that shallow minded?

Good god, my friend, are you “limited?” You must just pay attention to the NFL headliners and ignore the rest of a pro football team’s positions (though I wonder about Ingram, Henry, Cooper, et Al.). I suggest you take a look at the OL, DL and LB stars in the NFL from Alabama.

Oh wait... come to think of it, inability to identify the source of core strength of s football team is not just the LSU’s fans problem, but is apparently the LSU staff’s problem too... For years you people just ignored recruiting the trenches and fielded a team composed of about 60 CBs and Ss. And you wonder why LSU is a perennially third or fourth place finisher...in the SECwest?

I dont buy the hype on Saban making players good NFL talents. He gets them there but alot of your players go to the league and become career backups. The only true superstar in the NFL from Bama is Julio.

Can't fix stupid.

Just on the top 2 defenses in the NFL, Ravens and Redskins, there are 5 former Alabama starters. CJ Mosely is widely regarded as one of the top NFL LB's, Jonathon Allen and Daron Payne have transformed the Redskins DL to among the league's best units, and Ryan Anderson is a solid playmaker at LB. Marlon Humphrey entered entered the NFL a little raw, yet has been solid with his best years ahead of him.

That is just from the NFL's top 2 defenses.

As far as Julio being our only star, he is not the only Falcon WR from Alabama who could be considered a star, Calvin Ridley.

But hey, whatever helps you feel better about the coming 8 in a row.

Yeah, cause what smart person would not want to go somewhere where they can compete for championships?

Let's be honest, in your mind the only smart guys are the ones who go to LSU.

In the last 20 years or so yes. Prior to that it was under another coach when Bama was caught cheating.

LSU has never been relevant until Saban arrived there. After he left they were able to hire a big name due to the talent they had and they were able to ride that wave for a while. Bama will still have talent whenever Saban leaves which will make it easier to hire a big name. I don't expect Bama to continue this level of ridiculous success but I would hope that we can still pull top 5 classes and compete for conf titles. Just don't fall off a cliff...

They keep winning. Saban is given a golden thrown to sit on sidelines in as he watches the new coach. If he doesn't win then Saban screams, "Off with they're heads," until they keep winning.
I don't think you realize the impact of Saban. This Bama program will continue to win, for basically forever. Of course forever is a pretty long time, but we must except what will be. In the end if we all just let it be and use the serenity prayer the better off we will be. I don't see Bama ever losing again.

I actually don't think it will be Dabo. But whether it's him or anyone else, no one will be able to replicate the success Saban has had. Dude is a once in a lifetime coach. Alabama will probably content for a natty once every few years, but I doubt you'll be able to pencil them in every year like you can now.

Dabo is a pretty good coach, but even he can't hold Saban's jock.
