Interested to see what kind of adjustments Bama can make for 2nd half but hard to imagine anything being effective against Indiana if they can’t run the ball.

I recall a lot of people noting the lack of a running game when DeBoer was hired which is antithetical to Bama football.

It's hard to judge with the current offense. I try to remember we are in transition and don't really have the players they want. The defense has transitioned nicely for the most part, but the player builds aren't that different.
I like the more traditional style of offense. But I don't want Darby up the middle shite either.
My biggest grip is we do not attack the deeper parts of the field and it's allowing the defenses to cheat up. Because if you pass the ball behind the line constantly and you hand the ball off, that is NOT balance. That is attacking the short end of the field.
We gotta let some deep shite rip and pass the ball more. If we can hit some deep passes it can help open up the run. A throw 3 yards behind the line does shite for helping the run game.

way too long. allows defense too much rest time. especially if they were pummeled in 1st half and a team is ready to break their will in the 2nd half. should be same 20 minutes as always.
i like NFL..12 minute halves. other than shite super bowl which last forever.

Any rate, I'll lighten up on him, and give the space he needs at this time. He seems a decent enough bloke, most the time.
