Seems pretty similar to me. She probably could have learned to lip sync a little better. Also, the Auburn students booed her the entire time she tried to talk into the mic during the speech part (which I think is exactly the same every year by either side).
All in all, not the best effort, but not nearly as bad as it initially sounded, and certainly not the first time the SGA president hasn't sung into the microphone. From the description I thought she refused the mic and just stood there with her arms crossed.
Not showing up at all in 2014 was much worse, IMHO.

I can't believe people are actually making a big deal of this. It's dumb. Just present the trophy and be done.

As I said in another thread, they should make the captains of the losing team make the presentation and sing the song. That would add some additional spice to the on field action!

Glad you posted these. I had a few details wrong in my memory of what went down in 2012, but now I see it was even less of a deal since they didn't even bring up that he was supposed to sing it.

The whole thing is dumb, including the trophy / presentation IMO. Just play the game, celebrate the victory and be done.

Start bringing the trophy to the actual Iron Bowl and winning team gets it on the field like every other rivalry?

at least the auburn SGA guy acted like he was singing
and, i didnt know until watching that video but the bama girl was clapping along

Yea - she should have at least done some lip service to the song, but my first takeaway from the comments was she clearly acted like she didn't want to be there and wasn't going to have anything to do with it. That doesn't appear to be the case.
