frick Corch Saban, you should have the damn cheerleaders in by now. You could have had a more competitive game playing Hoover High

I'm looking forward to A.J. playing as anyone, but why to Alabama fans have to hate on the starting QB so damn much? It's not just McElroy. It's always been this way.

Don't roll your eyes at me.

We usually put the 2nd string in with a 28-0 lead in games like this. Hopfully we see McCarron from now until midway through the 4th when we get to see Ogilvie.

wonder why g mac doesnt do it..
Because he's a coward. And speaking of burning Simms' redshirt, I've let my feelings be known many times about what a mistake it was to redshirt McCarron. 1) He was allegedly the #2 QB last year. Imagine if Greg McElroy went down in the national championship instead of Colt McCoy. Alabama would have had to play a QB that had taken ZERO snaps under center in the most important game of the year. Saban should have gotten McCarron some snaps just in case something happened to McElroy and we had to play him. 2) We had a highly touted QB Phillip Sims coming in this year. Since McCarron is only a year ahead and if he's as good as we anticipate he will be, Sims won't get a shot at starting until his redshirt senior year. But if we had used up McCarron's redshirt, Sims will have a chance to start during his RS junior year at the latest. 3) If McCarron had gotten some playing time last year and been impressive, he would have had a realistic shot at starting or at least getting a lot of playing time this year. But since he's so raw playing time wise, Saban was stuck with Greg McElroy for better or for worse. Redshirting McCarron was just a terrible decision all the way around.

He can hit like a Mack truck, but he still doesn't have the defense down.

Milliner has improved a lot over the season. Still our weak link though.

They're like wind up dolls, its never ending.
The whole basketball season I'm going to endlessly bitch about Senario Hillman. And its going to be incredibly annoying to the 3 other Alabama basketball fans.

But Alabama's never had this much offensive talent on their team before. They have a future first round WR, two future first round RBs and solid secondary receivers with Maze and Hanks. It's completely unacceptable for an offense to underachieve this much. You have to pin the lack of production on either McElroy, McElwain or both. If you think this team is playing up to its potential offensively, you're kidding yourself.
