Honestly I haven’t watched the video. It’s probably cringe. I’m just saying I’d be surprised if anyone I knew had even heard of it.
I get that it looks different. But I don’t get the animosity. You don’t have to fear something you don’t understand.

I've always viewed it as arrested development. They're stuck in the 1950's when milk men were en vogue, the n-word was still part of the vernacular, and most schools had cheers that are cringy by todays standards. Same reason why a large part of their fan base thinks modern medicine equals vitamins and horse paste.

A bit cheerleader, story teller, etc. The whole walking and back forth thing started because they were literally standing on the steps of the old YMCA building. It’s supposed to be all in good fun.
