Both he and Tom Herman had the benefit of excellent QB play from an experienced upper-classman. Texas made that mistake twice with Strong and Herman. Without being able to ride those QBs, they both sucked.

Elko hired our current interim HC when Elmo was our DC. That should tell you where things are heading.
If he is our new HC, everyone needs to fix their phones so that Elko doesn’t autocorrect to Elmo. Just fyi.
