Nope. Would much rather play LSU. We can play Texas at the beginning of the year when we normally play shitty tune-up games.

Say 5 years down the road, you've built a nice little rivalry game with LSU on Thanksgiving.

Noone wants this shite. They left that Thanksgiving day shite behind when they said goodbye to big brother. Noone else is interested in playing a fricking game on Thursday.

You're an SEC team now. Let SWC/Big12 traditions die.

...and let new SEC traditions begin. If LSU doesn't want a T-day game, that's fine. As long as it is that week and gameday is there every GD cat-fricking year!!!

Why would they? aTm is much better off in tSEC and out of the shadow of Texas.

Regardless, I'll take LSU on T-Day, +1, or +2 over t.u.

If LSU fans are so anti-football on Thanksgiving, they must have had their jimmies extra rustled in 2010 when Romo spanked the Saints.

Eithet way, I just want it to be the last game of the season. Thanksgiving or not.

I understand that LSU doesn't have a very big/passionate fanbase, but that shouldn't stop us from scheduling them on T-Day. More empty seats in tiger stadium = cheaper tickets to an actual passionate fanbase (aTm)

But fwiw I don't care if it is played on thanksgiving or Black Friday. Just so long as it is that weekend.

In my mind, a perfect thanksgiving consists of:

--macy's parade in the morning

--thanksgiving turkey for brunch

--Dallas Cowboys in the afternoon

--Texas Aggies in the evening while leftovers are snacked upon

But that's jmho

The Saints won. And Romo didn't even play...

Has nothing to do with NFL. I'd prefer the game on Thanksgiving Friday myself.

Personally I'm pretty excited about A&M/LSU rivalry renewal and it being last regular season game is great.

You have to dig a little further back to find something to be happy about with the Cowboys, huh?

I agree with this, but as a season ticket holder that T-Day night game at home makes for a hectic day. Family gets pissed when you miss T-Day, but I can't bring myself to forfeit or sell that ticket or miss the tailgate.

You think missing Thanksgiving for a football game is bad, just wait till you miss a wedding for a football game. HA!
