What do you think Aggie?

Auburn is a great test. They will punch you in the mouth but they are not consistent. Y’all took the punch and won. We couldn’t overcome them at their place.

What are your thoughts? Jimbo and Lane are good coaches so I say a push there.

The rest is anyone’s guess. I believe we will have a legitimate home field advantage with it being a night game even though we traditionally fail in that metric.
To each their own regarding whether you think that matters, but what is the most hostile environment you’ve faced this year?

Also you shut down the AU QB with a great defensive scheme that took away what he does. We with Corral do the same thing. We will study what you did. The ever evolving study of what to do with a mobile QB. Even gives Saban trouble (normally). We have an elite QB I believe but you catch us like AU did but slightly less. Does that matter?

I think this will come down to how physical Ole Miss can be with all the injuries. We have been playing very physical football since Bama, putting a lot of pressure on QBs, tackling well, and grinding out tough yards in the running game.

On paper, Ole Miss looks like a really tough match up. However yall looked worn out against Liberty, especially in the 2nd half.

Corral is one hell of a QB so he could pull it out for sure but I expect us to come out and play a very physical game. Not sure how Ole Miss will hold up.

Definitely a dangerous game for A&M and Ole Miss has a lot of weapons starting of course with Corral.

I think the biggest key is if A&M can get to Corral early and often even if he makes a few plays. They can't sit back and let him pick them apart and they can't be overly aggressive and leave him huge holes to run. They need to get physical with him and get him thinking about footsteps.

On Offense it's all about establishing the run and converting 3rd downs. Take the air out of the ball and wear out the Ole Miss D.

Should be a really good game.

I don’t feel great about this game. They should out physical us in every aspect of the game.

But there’s two things that give me hope, and one thing I’m really excited about; One, is our offense going to create a shootout? If so, you can never count us out. Two, which TAMU will show up, the team that played State, and Arkansas, or the team that played Alabama and Auburn. I think it’s trending toward the ladder, which is why I’m not feeling confident in this game. But I’m excited for College Gameday being there, and our school getting more free public recognition.

Gotta respect that Ole Miss can be dangerous… and it’s a road night game.

To win - A&M has to establish the run, and has to shut down the run when on Defense.

Corral is a good QB so it should be a good game.

Much like Auburn, the key will be a controlled rush- not giving Corral lanes to run through, and keeping everything in front of us.

Auburn had some moments, but we made it very hard to sustain a drive. i see much same with Miss. I knew the story of AU would be our D vs their O.

This week is opposite- i think our D amd your O will offset. Big question is how is Miss going to stop our O.

I don’t think you’ll be able to stop our run, and we’ll be able to stop your’s. Unless we turn the ball over and your offense catches fire through the air, I expect us to cover.

I will be in Oxford for the first time. I expect a close game with both teams scoring 20 something points. Feel like Ole Miss has a huge advantage at QB, while A&M has advantages across both lines of scrimmage. Both teams are really good at RB. Night home game should be a big plus for Ole Miss.

A&M needs to run for 250 and kick extra points instead of field goals to win. I don't expect Corral to have a heisman type game, but if he does we are screwed. Excited to see him play.

Are all your receivers back and healthy? I keep hearing y'all are beat up, but not sure who is out.

Kiff is good about keeping things on the downlow so I don’t know about injuries. Jimbo said in his interview with Paaaaaaul that your defense was good about not coming off receivers when Corral scrambled. That is big I think.

Most of us have been dreading this game most of the season.

If Ole Miss can stop the run we are in deep shite.

Rebs first down defense and Aggies third down defense will decide this game.

Who? Ole Miss is a much worse matchup for us than Auburn. I think all Ags understand that. If their passing O is on point, we might not be able to score enough to keep up.

Auburn is probably the "better" overall team than OM, but Auburn's strengths played perfectly into ours. Ole Miss is going to be a more uncertain game.

Yep. We are worn down and can’t hold up to the level of talent A&M has right now. No depth and too many injured. I have a feeling Vegas has this wrong. Won’t be close. Sad but we are still feeling the remnants of probation. No depth. And apparently we need to hire a strength and conditioning coach. Doesn’t look like we have one.

Not even worried bout this game. By the 4th quarter, OM will be just like Auburn.

They will decide they dont want any more.

Hope y’all beat Ole Miss and are riding a high coming to Baton Rouge, only for us to remind you who Daddy is and take your corch from you. Jk. I don’t really want Jimbo. I’d rather have Riley. BUT the melt from Daniel would be glorious, so we really can’t lose here

TBH we really haven't had one.

Our road games have been Colorado in Denver on 9/11 w/61k fans (roughly split w/CU outnumbering A&M), Arkansas in Arlington on 9/25 w/57k (roughly split with A&M outnumbering Pig), and at Missouri on 10/16 w/48k at 11am in the morning.

I'd say that Denver was the most difficult environment b/c of the altitude and decent turnout by their fans, Arkansas had the rowdiest (and smallest number of) fans, and Missouri... well most of the "48k" were their fans at least.

But again, b/c you could say both Denver and Arlington were close enough to be called a split crowd and since the Mizzou game was a 11am w/A&M jumping out to a big lead early that we've really yet to have faced a truly hostile crowd.

I’ve noticed through the years that when a team is unable to stop the run, a crowd quickly loses its hostility.

Few things in sports are more frustrating than a D that can’t stop a rushing attack.

We have two amazing RBs that are closing in on 1000 yds and running behind a line that jelled 5 weeks ago and Jimbo calls his most talented yet. We’ll see.
